Corrections Policy

What we correct

We correct significant factual errors in published articles, including incorrect names, dates, figures, attributions, and misstatements of events. Updates that add new information without changing prior facts may be noted as updates rather than corrections when appropriate.

How corrections appear

Material corrections are recorded in the editorial system and should be visible on or adjacent to the affected article when published. We do not silently rewrite history for convenience. Clarifications may be used when wording was ambiguous but not factually false.

How to request a correction

Use the public corrections form. Include the article URL, the passage you believe is wrong, and the correction you propose, with a source if you have one. You may also choose “Corrections” on the contact form.

Review

Editors review correction requests. Submitting a request does not guarantee a change. If we decline a request, we may still reply when a response is warranted. Abusive or bad-faith submissions may be ignored.

Press releases and sponsored content

Errors in labeled press materials or sponsored posts are still eligible for correction when they appear on Tech Capital News. The original content type label remains; correcting a press release does not convert it into independent reporting.
